Moldova is the 21st century Ruritania for the western public. In the book "The Prisoner of Zenda", Anthony Hope placed it somewhere within old Czechoslovakia. It looks that this new Ruritania moved in a century since the book publication only a few hundred kilometers to the East in what is now Moldova. That just reminds me of PM Neville Chamberlain's saying when he appeased the Nazis that in Eastern Europe live “faraway people about whom we know so little”. Not much it seems that has changed in the western collective perception toward this part of the world since, and the name of this game is symptomatic in that regard.
