We got an SMS just now, from Club Martin, telling us that Studio Martin has some German DJs playing tonight and tomorrow.
The content of the message is irrelevant: this is spam. We have never signed up to any Studio Martin mailing list. As for Vodafone selling our phone numbers…

Hey, there was another post about some pictures from 1964, Gordon, what did u do with it? :-s
Of the many advertising text messages I got (despite my calling and telling them I did not, do not and will never want to receive any text messages), this one rocks:
13.01.2009 12:52 From: 1848; Text: “This phone number is in Philip Morris Trading SRL database of adult smokers (I have never smoked and I dare ask who recorded my number there). If you wish your data erased from our database, kindly call 021-2036155″.
Indeed, call and pay for the call in order to give up something one has never asked for. Furthermore, the lady answering the phone wanted to know why I want my number off their database. Someone at Vodafone is getting some money, either officially or not. And the ANC watches in content, arms crossed.
