Angry television viewers last night bombarded the switchboard of the CNA (Romania’s Audio-Visual watchdog) with a string of complaints related to the sudden, unannounced appearance of a sports result on the sports bulletin of a national TV station.
One viewer, Ron Scuscu, told Bucharest Life: “It’s a disgrace. There I was watching some cracking footage of fruity footballers’ wives relaxing in bikinis on a beach in Dubai when suddenly – and entirely unannounced – some actual sports results appeared on the screen. Heads must roll.”
