So much to do in Bucharest these days.
Besides the Peasant Museum’s craft fair, Street Delivery is also happening this weekend, in its usual location along the length of Strada Verona, which will be closed to traffic from today (Friday) until Sunday night. This is the tenth edition of Bucharest’s best urban arts festival, designed to give the city’s streets back to the people, at least for a few hours.
Throughout the weekend there will be all sorts going on, from hands-on art projects and exhibitions for the kids to theatre, film, bands and craft beer for the grown-ups. A large number of NGOs will be running stalls, and on both Saturday and Sunday nights at 10pm there is a concert (Street Delivery Nights) at the Arenele Romane. The full programme is here.
Some weekends it is easy to be bored in Bucharest. This weekend is not one of them.
