Time to get the double-deckers out

Oh yes. It’s time once again to be dazzled by the shine of the boulevards. The double-deckers are being rolled out as we speak in preparation for a new season of Bucharest City Tours, which start up again on May 1st.

Prices look set to be the same as in previous years (25 lei for adults, 10 lei for children and free for under-sevens), and while tickets will still be available on board, RATB also plans selling them in hotels.

For anyone remotely interested, here is our ‘Around Bucharest on a bus’ feature from last summer’s (June-July 2012) issue of Bucharest In Your Pocket:

Oi Rodders! Get up you lazy git! You’ve got a bus full of tourists waiting. We’ll stop off first at where Jack The Ripper was buried.
