The Romanian History Museum (MNIR) recently launched a major new website, www.comunismulinromania.ro, the front-end of a project designed to look at the communist period in Romania in a ‘serious, objective way.’
Mainly a photo archive, we liked the communist-era adverts the best. It’s good to know that if Bucharest In Your Pocket had been around then, we could have counted on at least one ad from a restaurant…

THanks for that – I really love seeing old communist adverts. As for crap service – it is mainly a Bucharest problem…
Can you publish the deeplink to the advertising? I couldn’t find it in my admittedly brief search through the site

Crap service maybe today because in those days all waiters and chefs were qualified!
