Incredible but true.
Adevarul, in its own words Romania’s ‘leading quality newspaper’ yesterday announced that it would ‘distance itself from politics‘ in the run up to Sunday’s European elections.
Utterly bizarre. In a country where political reporting is basically useless, you would expect a self-entitled ‘quality’ to try and stand out from the pack with some real political reporting.
I mean, it’s not like Romanian newspapers are struggling or anything…
