Top Romanian pop stars set to compete for honour of finishing 14th in Eurovision Song Contest

The cream of Romanian pop and rock will tomorrow compete for the prestigious honour of representing Romania at May’s Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. Twelve acts, chosen this week after two, tight semi-finals, will do battle for the right to go to Moscow and finish 14th, before returning home to recriminations about a lack of preparation, vote rigging and vowing never to take part ever again until next year.

You know what’s funny? In 3 days we had ‘breaking news’ in Romania that would probably happen in 3 years…
